Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that hit director Lingusamy has sacked Silambarasan from his forthcoming project!
Simbu had given confirmed dates to Lingu and producer Dhyanidhi Alagiri that he will do their film in August after he completes his first schedule of Poda Podi. In fact a few weeks back Simbu and Lingu had gone to Macau to work out the script(see pic).
But what irked Lingusamy was that Silambarasan, without informing them, suddenly out of the blue started shooting for Vaanam. A source close to Lingusamy said: “ It was shocking and an unprofessional approach of Simbu which really put off Lingusamy and Dorai, as all his dates were pushed forward which will delay our film.”
Lingusamy and his team took a gutsy decision to drop Simbu and go ahead with the project with a more saleable star. The buzz is that the team is talking to Vijay, who himself is overcommitted with Kaval Kadhal and Velayudham.
