Multitalented South Indian director Shanker is presently busy on his Rs 200 cr project (appr), which is titled as Endhiran. The movie is said to be an in post production stages and will be a September 2010 or November 2010 release.
Meanwhile, Shanker has confirmed about the news that he is directing the remake of bollywood super hit “3 idiots” in Tamil n Telugu. Shanker confirmed about the star cast of the Tamil remake and said that the movie will include Vijay, Simbhu and Madhavan in the lead and actor Sathyaraj will be playing the role of Boman Irani.
The director also took the opportunity to disclose about the Telugu remake and also the star cast. Shanker disclosed that Mahesh babu, Simbhu and Madhavan will be seen in the Telugu remake and Kota Srinivas Rao will be playing the role of a college principle. However, Gemini film circuit, who has the remake rights, is yet to contact Kota for the role. There is news that the star cast may go for a slight change and Madhavan and Simbhu may be replaced and Pawan Kalyan and Allari Naresh may get the nod.
